Mark Mathia - CEO
Mark L. Mathia is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tiburon Financial, LLC. Mark earned his undergraduate degree in Business Communications from Dana College and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Bellevue University. Mark leads the organization toward objectives, develops primary goals, operating plans, policies, and short and long range objectives for the organization. His tenacity and willingness to establish a leadership driven organization has earned Tiburon Financial the respect and admiration from other industry leaders across the nation. When not at work, Mark can be found teaching and writing on the subject of leadership. He has a weekly leadership journal that has over 200 subscribers and has been a correspondent writer for New Man's E-Magazine. Mark has more than 17 years experience in the debt collections industry and has been actively involved with ACA International the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.
John Keady - President
John Keady is Co-Founder and President of Tiburon Financial LLC. John holds a degree from University of Nebraska and brings 30 years of experience and success in the Credit and Collection industry. Prior to establishing Tiburon, John held the position of Vice President of Platinum Recovery Services, where he managed this subsidiary for First National Bank Omaha. John also offers his experience from his Collection Management position with GMAC. John manages Tiburon’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, strategic plans and policies to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit. John has been active holding positions with industry organizations as; Board of Directors for the Nebraska Collectors Association, Past President of the International Credit Association of the Midlands, American Collectors Association, Kurt Swersky award winner at the ACA Leadership Conference, Past Board Member – AAHAM and Chairman/President – Aksarben Chapter AAHAM
Ed Beber - Vice President Sales and Marketing
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in Business Process Outsourcing, Collections and Contact Centers, Ed Beber was previously Vice President of Business Development for SourceOne. Ed held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ecom Worldwide as well as executive sales, marketing and business development roles with West Corporation CSI, Berkshire Hathaway, Sitel and First Data Corporation. Additionally, Ed was instrumental in assisting SITEL Corporation’s entry into the Collection Industry. He also demonstrated similar success at First Data with the initial introduction of FastData and initiated the development of the First Pursuit product.
Brenda Brockman - Client Services Manager
Brenda has invested nearly 10 years providing hands-on oversight, managing the Tiburon customer service operations, being the daily point of contact and dealing directly with customers. She continually develops, tracks and reports key performance measurements for the company. Additionally, Brenda assists in developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency. She oversees cross-functional work relations targeted to resolve issues raised by customers/consumers.
Jason Thompson - Director Information Systems
With a diverse 19-year background in the Collections and Recovery Industry, Jason brings experience from his years as a collector, deceased and bankruptcy recovery manager, and recovery and collections manager to his current position as Director of Information Systems at Tiburon Financial L.L.C. With his comprehensive knowledge of Business Information Systems, and his keen, intuitive problem-solving skills, Jason is well-suited for his position. Jason is extremely involved in the industry organizations and is currently President of The Nebraska Collectors Association and has served as an Officer on the Board of Directors for Credit Professionals of Greater Omaha and ICA of the Midlands. Jason has been with Tiburon Financial since its inception in June of 2000.
Todd Lohr - Director Healthcare Operations
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from University of Nebraska Lincoln. Todd has 18 years experience in the credit collection industry. Prior to Tiburon he was President/Owner of National Account Systems collection agency. Current responsibilities: Todd provides oversight and directs the overall operations of the Lincoln, NE and Fayetteville, AR. Collection Centers. He oversees Unit Supervisors and manages policies, procedures and operating structure, setting standards and guidelines to achieve Tiburon corporate goals as well as those of the individual clients.
